Anxiety Disorders
There is probably no one who has not experienced a feeling of anxiety. It happens to all of us. Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It helps you get through a tense situation at work, keep you focused on a task, and in general anxiety helps you cope. Unfortunately, for some people anxiety can become excessive and overwhelming. The trigger of the anxiety can make that person dread certain situations to the point of making daily life a strain. When the anxiety gets to this point, it becomes an anxiety disorder.
Our trained professionals at Jacqueline Saad & Associates can help face your anxieties and find what is at the root – what it that triggers the anxiety. It could be post-traumatic stress, a phobia, or may a social anxiety of some sort. During your sessions at Jacqueline Saad, we will try to find out what your anxiety symptoms are. In certain situations does your heart beat faster? Do your hands shake? Do you sweat, have difficulty breathing, or get dizzy? If you can answer yes to these, we will begin the work of what is at the bottom of your anxiety. Then, together, we will try to dispel those anxious moments and find out what methods will help you cope better with these situations.
