Stress is unavoidable in our modern society, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Without stress, life would be unmotivating. But, too much of anything can lead to problems. Too much stress, to the point of feeling overwhelmed with life most of the time, can lead to depression, anxiety, upheaval in relationships, decreased productivity at work and sleep disturbances.
